A pianist since he was 8 years old, Lee Adler heard an Oscar Peterson record when he has 16 and has studied and played jazz ever since. He has studied with Laszlo Gardony, who shared his organic approach to jazz piano as well as Jeff Covell. Lee has developed his own style, which melds jazz, blues, funk, and popular music with intensity and passion. He has a long-term collaboration with saxophonist Herman Johnson. Lee enjoys solo and ensemble performances and has played at numerous Boston venues, including Ryles and Slades.

Saxophonist Herman Johnson was born in Philadelphia, PA. He then came to Boston, MA and attended The Berklee College of Music from 1973 to 1977. Herman was an Assistant Professor from 1978 to 1996. Mr. Johnsons’ passionate playing is as visually majestic to the eyes as it is pleasing to the ears. He has played with legends King Curtis, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Stevie Wonder.

Cellist and Bassist Robert Rivera studied at the Manhattan School of Music, Mannes College of Music, the Longy School of Music, the Boston Conservatory, and the Moscow Conservatory in Moscow, Russia. Robert has played extensively in the US and Europe, working in genres as diverse as classical, jazz, and improvisational music.
